    Weekend GBU

    THE GOOD:
  • Made a few pies with cider-mill apples that didn't turn out a mess, even tho I did not have my usual dough
  • NWN downloaded modules. Some are more slick than the included single-player game.
  • Coupla good sessions of penny poker
  • New Justice League eps -- good stuff

    THE BAD:
  • Up again at 0-dark-hundred this morning
  • Well, some of the modules crash the machine
  • Got pummeled playing .25/.50 poker

    THE UGLY:
  • Lions. Nuff said.

    Good Times, Bad Times

Now we are playing lots of catch-up.

  • They make Superman ice cream in carton-format. Of course, since Superman is the property of DC Comics, it has been given the name "SuperSwirl", but it's the same stuff. The contents of this ice cream are Blue = Blue Moon, Yellow = "Yellow Vanilla", and Red = Strawberry-Cherry. Note: There is no gum or gum-like substance in *real* Superman ice cream. You can obtain this SuperSwirl ice cream at Busch's Valu-Land.

  • I'd almost bailed out on the Monday Night Football game the other night, but stuck with it -- and was not disappointed by the ending. Indianapolis made up 3 TD's in the last 4 minutes and won in overtime. Anything to pimp-slap some of the swagger out of the Bucs. On a vaguely related note, my Fantasy Foosball team, after losing the first two games of the year, has won 3 straight.

  • Gaming Saturday went well. I'm now sorely lacking an update to Token Pursuits, though. We were also able to order the Big Benito's Pizza. It is Quite Large.

  • The day after I complained to Cafepress about my New T-Shirt not showing up, it magically appears! Remember, the bear was not harmed. (Riiight.)

  • Oh, and I finished Dark Cloud 2 last night (well, the main story. There's a bonus dungeon that's not related to the plot at all). GoTY-PS2.
