    Still here

I'm on vacation! I'm not going anywhere special, I'm just not going to work for two weeks.

Today's goal is the clean the bathroom, since Julie's mom is coming tomorrow.

I also plan to get a bunch of Christmas shopping done. I'm going to apologize beforehand -- I like to get people good loot, but I'm trying to cut it back this year to use some of those savings towards the house fund. Hope nobody feels slighted.

    Weekend

Friday I rushed home from work and enjoyed a nice nap. Later, Julie and I ran some errands and then, amazingly enough, waited only about 10 minutes to eat at the Washtenaw Chilis. I couldn't believe it.

Saturday I watched a lot of college football early, and then dannimal and I hung out, played some D2, watched sports, and used our psychic powers to determine who was doing Dr. Fate's voice and the name of the mysterious "Ithultu".

Sunday we went out to my folks for my Mom's birthday, and I picked up some coin from my brother, and Julie didn't kill my grandmother, so all is well.

    Alive!

Late last week I caught whatever sickness Julie'd come down with and was then incapacitated that Thursday and Friday. Saturday rolls around and I was feeling better, so we drugged up and went out to our friend Shade's wedding out near Manchester. The location was really nice, but the weather chose that very day to finally turn cold. I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing -- makes your wedding day that more memorable.

Anyways we came home and putted around that night, and then the next day I was back to feeling just as crappy as before. I knew I was sick because even though I didn't go to work, I wasn't really interested in playing games, reading and such. It wasn't vacation. I stayed home Monday and Tuesday as well.

When my boss mailed me to say "Don't you think it's time to see a *doctor*?", I knew it was time to go back to work.

    Weekend

Friday I raced home to get the house ready for Halloween, then passed out candy to the little boobs who roam our neighborhood. Pretty good turnout, probably because of the extremely nice weather. Hung out at the W.C. after that.

Saturday, watched UM pull out the victory in East Lansing, made some cash playing poker, and then went to a party. I was dressed as a King. Not necessarily the King of Town, but I can do the voice.

Sunday I watched football and did a bunch of chores, then played some cards. Ended up a dollar. Played some more Diablo on the Battle.Net .

Monday I worked, watched some taped shows, made dinner, did some laundry and watched the MNF game. I lost my Fantasy League game by two points.

Today I'd like to go home and take a nap. Pherph did give me a "SPARTY ON" bumper sticker, tho.
