Mirlyn

Database/CD-Rom: Mirlyn is the library's catalog of books and periodicals. It is a rich source of background information. You can use the keyword search feature to look up subjects, or search for specific authors or titles.

Some Important Indexes:

web source ProQuest indexes 2500 scholarly and popular journals since the 1970s and provides the full text of many since the mid-1980s.

Web source Academic Universe provides the full text of newspapers from around the world as well as professional and business newsletters since the mid-1980's.

Web source: On environmental issues, you can also look at the Congressional Research Service Environmental Reports, which were written by the Library of Congress for Congressional committees.
