Hannah is a third-year Robotics Ph.D. student co-advised by Dr.Sarter (THInC Lab) and Dr.Gillespie (HaptiX Lab). Her focus is human-robot interaction and her current research interests lie in developing a means of haptic negotiation between a human and a robotic system to encourage a constructive and happy partnership. She is interested in human-centered design, cognitive ergonomics, and developing trust and transparency between humans and robots in high-stress/high-tempo scenarios. She received her BS and MS in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

Jennifer (Jen) Zamudio is a Ph.D. student in the Interaction & Collaboration Research (ICRL) Lab, advised by Dr. Jessie Yang. Her research interests are related to human factors engineering applications in healthcare, with a specific interest in enhancing team interactions, cognitive ergonomics, and well-being among healthcare professionals within stressful/high workload environments (e.g., robotic surgery, trauma care). Her goal is to contribute to the field as a professor, collaborating closely with embedded practitioners to drive improvements in the broader clinical system.
Dr. Xi Jessie Yang

Doowon's research interest includes human-machine interaction, user interface/user experience, and trust in automation. His current research focuses on predicting driver's behavior and takeover performance based on various information prior to a takeover situation in conditional autonomous vehicles. In the end, the aim of the research is to provide a better experience gained from the interaction and to improve overall performance by applying human factors to the design and the system. He has completed his B.S in Industrial Management Engineering at Korea University and M.S in Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University.

Hyesun is a Ph.D. student working with the Interaction & Collaboration Research Lab (ICRL) at the University of Michigan. Her research goal is to improve human performance when collaborating with automation by designing an adaptive interface. Her current research interests include identifying personal characteristics that affect human-automation interaction and modeling trust dynamics.
Dr. Xi Jessie Yang

Dr. Green is a researcher in UMTRI's Driver Interface Group, adjunct professor in Industrial and Operations Engineering, and past president of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. His research focuses on driver distraction, motor-vehicle controls and displays, driver workload and workload managers, and navigation system design.
