PhD, Industrial & Operations Engineering
Area of Interest
Nourin is engaged in innovative research in neuroergonomics, with a focus on neuromuscular fatigue, stress, and modeling brain hemodynamics using advanced computational techniques and flow data. Her research explores brain networks through the application of graph theory, contributing to a deeper understanding of how cognitive workload and fatigue influence physiological and cognitive performance. Nourin’s goal is to advance knowledge of brain function under cognitive perturbation and improve human performance in demanding environments.
