Kathy was a little trepidatious about taking a ride on the big Ferris wheel at Navy Pier, but we really wanted to go to see the view from the top. At the last minute, she decided to join us.

It was a gentle ride, stopping every few minutes to let someone on or off. We went around just once, but it was slow enought to get a great view of the city stretched a long the waterfront in both directions.
