Dr. Wineman is an architectural researcher who is experienced in environmental programming, design and evaluation.

Her scholarship, research and teaching explores the links between visual and spatial properties of architecture and behavioral and educational outcomes.

Recent emphasis is the examination of formal properties as generative 'prestructures' of design and descriptive approaches to design analysis.

Dr. Wineman's research interests include museum and exhibit design, the design of work settings to enhance productivity, and design for special populations.

 

 

She is a principal investigator of the "Exhibition Layout and Visitor Movement in Science Museums" funded by National Science
Foundation.

She is a principal investigator of
the project "Identifying Environmental Predictors of High Work Performance"
funded by the U.S. General Services Administration.

She is one of principal investigators of "Design Decisions Support System. Developing Second Generation Tools for the Analysis of Building Layout and Configuration" funded by Georgia Tech Foundation Academic Initiative Grant.
