How to Spend Valentine's Day sans a Man and Plus Best Friends

For all of us that are flying solo, on purpose or not, this Valentine's Day, don't worry. There's no reason to dread this lovey-dovey holiday if you don't have a special someone to spend it with. Instead, think of it as a chance to celebrate the single life with your girlfriends and do all of the things that make you smile. The possibilities are endless...
♥ Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure. Take it as a chance to relax and pamper yourself. And, if you really hate Valentine's Day, paint 'em black.
♥ See a chick flick, like Dear, John or Valentine's Day. It might seem like the most depressing thing you could ever do as a single woman on Valentine's Day, but just give it a chance. Appreciate, or bash, the story with your best friends after it's over.
♥ Eat whatever you want. Screw diets and vegetables. Have pizza and ice cream and enjoy every second of it.
♥ Throw a party, and only invite your girlfriends. Pitch in for an expensive bottle of champagne, decorate your place with pink and red, and get a heart-shaped pinata. That way, if you're still sad, you'll have a convenient and acceptable outlet for your frustration.
