Demographics
The goal: LEAD seeks to reach every University of Michigan student. All undergraduates and graduate students at the University are our inspiration and our audience. A diverse and growing readership can only ensure that LEAD will fulfill its mission. (to capture every aspect of campus life and to showcase the talent in Ann Arbor) Specific demographics appear in the table below. After a month of availability, www.umleadmag.com averages around 1700 visits per day. |
Editorial Calendar
Currently, LEAD publishes a full online issue--new articles in each department and a student cover story--once a month during the regular academic year (September - April). Additionally, every week the staff updates www.umleadmag.com with new content in blogs, behind-the-scenes, previews, polls, and more. Special print editions will be released in the end of fall and winter semesters. A pilot issue will be available in the end of January 2010. The first full print issue will be released in the end of March 2010. Print issues will be distributed throughout campus, free of charge. |
Rates and Specifications
Online advertisements can be purchased for varying durations. The standard banner of 230x230 pixels will appear along the right side bar of the webpage. An actual-size banner appears below. To preserve visual consistency, interested parties can provide LEAD with the information regarding their advertisement, and the LEAD creative and business staff will create a banner on the parties' behalf. Created ads will be sent to the interested party for approval before being published. Rates and specifications for the special print editions are to be determined.
