BOM Summer Institute
The Behavioral Operations Management (BOM) Summer Institute is a one-week, intensive summer institute for doctoral students interested in conducting behavioral research in operations management. It is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in behavioral research to make contributions to the BOM field, while also forging research collaborations and building bonds that will grow and strengthen the community. The Summer Insitute consists of both lecture sessions covering core behavioral economics and psychology topics and their applications in operations management, as well as roundtables and practicums discussing tactics for success in behavioral research.
I am co-organizing the BOM Summer Institute with Ryan Buell and Jordan Tong. We are planning to offer the program every other year. The 2019 Summer Institutes is being held at the University of Michigan.
