If you are considering "bridge" programs...

(What are they? Those are master's programs in math designed to support students who want to persue a math PhD but not yet ready for it, particularly those traditionally underrepresented in the field or those transitioning to math from other majors. Most bridge programs offer funding for U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and some also provide support for international students. )
