What is Image Bias?
The choice of what images to use or not use
to represent a news story is an important decision made by all media sources.
For example, accompanying a war article with a picture of dead bodies as opposed
to a picture of patriotic soldiers is a concious decision made by a new source.
This decision helps to shape the viewer's or reader's opinions on a particular
event or person.
