It is not uncommon for a person to go through the day without remembering the tragic events which took place on September 11, 2001. Even when that painful memory emerges it is an image that is hard to cope with. Which is why for the past three years, satirical cartoons have surfaced not only to mock but to offer some comfort in what would otherwise not be.
These “mockings” of a mad man put Osama Bin Laden in the most absurd situations, degrading him as ‘unhuman’. Ideas range from his head on a turkey, to his doll in a GIJoe toy box. But ultimately they do not allow us to forget that he is the most wanted criminal in the world.
