Memories of Shelly |
|
Hebrew Day School kids My brother is in the same grade that Shelly was. Once, when she was in kindergarten, my class went out to recess at the same time as the kindergartners. My brother and Shelly were playing on the monkey bars. Alan (my brother) came up to me and said "Ha Ha, you're not invited to Shelly's birthday party and I am!" Shelly didn't want me to feel bad so she said to me "don't listen to him. You can come to my party". She gave me an invitation, too. I couldn't come to the party, but it was very nice of Shelly to invite someone three years older than her to her party, just to make them feel better! Ben, third grade
Daphna, forth grade Shelly was honest. Not only in the way of not lying, but she always told people if she needed or wanted something. Or if she did'nt like like something you did. She also cared a lot about her little sister. She made sure Maia was happy and didn't need anything. Shelly always had a good spirit. I have never seen her in a bad mood. Shelly was a wonderful artist. She drew beautiful pictures. Yoni, third grade
We went to a lake (Portage Lake) and rented a raft. I also remember when we went to Silver
Lake, and it poured all night, but that's a different story. I also remember the time when
we went to Gallop Park. Sammy, forth grade
Matan, third grade I have always been buddies with Yoni so I see Shelly a lot. I got invited to a lot of parties, which brought us closer together. Shelly's dad is my dentist. I remember once I went to Shelly's Purim party. Shelly was a bunny. I was a ware-wolf and I scared the socks of Maia, her little sister.
Tatiana, second grade When I heard that Shelly died I was so sad I cried all the way to school and even at school. I loved watching Pooh movies with Shelly.
