Jonathan Carender
Class of 2010 | Material Science Engineering, Physics Minor

Jon is a sophomore majoring in Materials Science Engineering with a minor in Physics. He is a member of MPowered, the College of Engineering's entrepreneurship organization. Jon is also a member of the College of Engineering’s Chemical Engineering Car Team. Recently, he has taken up mentoring a student at Dexter High School in calculus. Last summer he successfully started and ran his own business, hiring his own employees, and grossing almost $80,000 in sales. After graduation, he hopes his entrepreneurial pursuits will lead him to own his own engineering firm. In his spare time, he plays ice hockey with two local adult teams.
