Julia Samorezov
Class of 2009 | Biomedical Engineering
Julia Samorezov is a third year biomedical engineering student
concentrating in biomechanics. She is currently working in a research
lab in the Division of Kinesiology studying the role of fatigue and
decision making in ACL injuries. She loves research and hopes to
become a professor so she can teach and be in labs for the rest of her
life. Julia is also the President and Co-Founder of M-HEAL, a group
dedicated to the repair, design, and building of medical equipment for
the developing world, and is a sister of Phi Sigma Rho, the engineering
sorority. She will spend the first half of 2008 studying at INSA de
Lyon in France and visiting as many European cities as possible. In
her free time, Julia enjoys volunteering at Food Gatherers, knitting,
serving tea and cookies to friends, and watching Michigan football.
