 Getting
to Meets
All home meets take place at Crisler Arena on South
Campus. Groups of students often meet at residence halls
or at various spots around campus to walk or car pool
to Crisler. If you are a member of our Core GymFantry group, we
will arrange rides to meets ahead of time.
If you live far away, remember that all meets are on
Fridays this year, usually at 7:30pm. You can always
catch the last Southbound Commuter bus that drop you
off right at Crisler around 7pm.
Seating
The Student Section is located in and around section
39 at Crisler (right at the corner of the floor, baby!).
From this location we can successfully cheer our team
onto victory while simultaneously scaring the opponents
right back onto the bus! Be sure to send students and
friends this way.
Tickets
Tickets are free for all students, all the time. You
must bring your M Card and show it upon admission. As
mentioned before, all seating is general admission.
Away Meets/Road-Tripping
Our team needs us away from home just as much as when
they are in Ann Arbor. Therefore, GymFantry fans occasionally
travel to away meets to cheer on our team. Transportation
is generally arranged through members of the Student
Section, so, if you don't have a car, you can pile into
one of ours! This year our 'Road Warriors' trip will
be to Michigan State on March 18, 2005. Other road trips
will be planned based on interest, especially for the
playoffs. Email us (gymfantry @umich.edu)
if you would like to get a seat on the bus.
