Finance Committee

The Finance Committee secures funds from various campus resources by interacting with organizations, departments, university entities. Funds secured by the Finance Committee go directly to UPSA Events.

Educational Value: Public speaking experience, creating a budget, effective communication with other organizations, experience requesting funds, grant writing experience, knowledge about fundraising opportunities at the University.

Qualifications: Responsible, organized, dedicated, trustworthy.

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee enhances UPSA's membership and campus presence by advertising for events. Members take pictures, use social media, submit to newspapers, recruit new members, and keep current members up to date about upcoming UPSA events.

Educational Value: Members will amass knowledge about effective advertising channels and develop strong communication skills in a team-oriented environment. Members will also develop organizational skills and the ability to use university services to strive towards collective goals.

Qualifications: Dedication to goal achievement, ability to meet deadlines, intrapersonal skills, creative, organization.
