DESIGNER PRODUCES OR SUPERVISES SPECIFICATIONS

Specifications will be developed in the form of preliminary engineering drawings, models, and may supervise functional engineering prototypes made by and for the engineering department's evaluation and testing.

The designer will then follow through with engineering to assure design is interpreted correctly and, if necessary, to adjust for production constraints/problems

MARKETING

The designer attends to packaging, sales literature, advertisements, sales tools, displays and exhibits and corporate graphic identity, as reflected in forms, reports, signage, vehicles and facility environment.

PRODUCTION

The designer checks pilot and preproduction parts for fit, quality and finish.

EVALUATION

The designer evaluates and if necessary revises the product (package or marketing device) after trial production run for market testing purposes, and/or is rehired after full market launch has produced sufficient data to justify design revisions.
