Well, it's the new year, and so once again I have resolved to
get some work done on this documentation. I'd really better
get it done this time because I just discovered that
www.openssl.org
has a pointer to them. Urk!
Note that my emphasis has been on getting the libcrypto
routines documented; enough people are using the SSL-level routines
that it seems folks can get by without documentation. *I* certainly
have. And besides there is the ssl-users mailing list, archived
in Germany (I find that the more reliable one), where practically
everybody's SSL-related questions have already been answered.
Not all of these files are in nice html.
In particular, some of the files that are derived (read: copied)
from the docs that came with the *SSLeay 0.6.6* distribution
have a <pre> wrapper around them until I get to them. Yes, that's
0.6.6. *Sigh*
Some areas are completely undocumented (no docs provided with the
distribution and I haven't gotten to writing any).
So this is year three of writing these docs...
I wonder how many versions behind I can
fall this year?
