This silk screen poster is an advertisement for a play. The play is titled "Christmas Party, Gifts of Sadness." What is interesting is that in the foreground, a white Raggedy Ann doll is apparently tripping over one of the presents under the Christmas tree, possibly signifying the fall of whiteness. In the background, the Aztec eagle and sun are rising from behind the range of snow-capped mountains. The Aztec eagle and sun were used as symbols by Cesar Chavez and the United Farm Workers and became incorporated into the Chicano movement.
