Margarita "Mita" Cuaron
I am aspiring to create a multifaceted, multicultural, and humanistic expression, including
themes such as people's lives, the rites of passage, birth, and death. Art is my choice of documenting
how I see the world and its people.
Margarita Mita Cuaron
Margarita Mita Cuaron was raised in a very political environment. Her parents were social
activists and influenced Cuaron's artwork in a big way. Although she rejected learning religion in a
formal setting, it was a large part of her life and influenced her art as well. 10
