Dr. Zhang is Director of the Personnel Office of Beijing Normal University. Prior to this, he was Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Beijing Normal University. He earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Beijing Normal University in Philosophy.  

Binglin ZHONG

President, Beijing Normal University

Dr. Zhong was appointed President of Beijing Normal University in 2001. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Southeast University and was Director General of the Department of Higher Education of China’s Ministry of Education. He earned his Master’s degree from Nanjing Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. degree from Cardiff University in the U.K. Currently, he is in charge of the overall work of the university administration.

Dr. Huang was appointed Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in January 2010. Prior to this, he served as Dean of the School of Power and Energy Engineering, and he also serves as the Director of the Energy Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he is responsible for undergraduate and graduate student recruitment and support, as well as international education.

Dr. Li was appointed Deputy Director of the Division of Personnel at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008. In 2006, he was elected Vice Secretary of CPC Committee at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and his Master’s degree from Fudan University. Currently, he is responsible for the establishment of a teaching center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Professor Zheng was appointed Vice President of Southeast University in September 2006. He received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics, and his doctorate in Biomedical Engineering, all from Southeast University. He joined the University faculty after graduation. Professor Zheng has held several academic and administrative positions at Southeast University, including Chair of the Department of Applied Mathematics, Deputy Director of the Division of Teaching Management, and Assistant President and Director of Southeast University’s Pukou campus. Currently, he is in charge of undergraduate education, the library, the university’s Wuxi campus, and laboratory affairs.
