The instrument itself can be broken into a few major parts:
Control surface layout
This is what the performer actually uses to play the instrument. The way the control surface is manipulated determines the musical outcome. It is discussed in greater detail in the next section.
Structure
The control surface needs an environment in which to exist that is not only interesting, but completes the definition of the total instrument itself. This instrument has a unique form, unlike any other previously existing instrument. Details and pictures are in the "Structure" section.
Visual interaction
To take greater advantage of the endless possibilities of VR space, we chose to integrate several visual elements and capabilities into the instrument. Pictures and an explanation are discussed in the "Visual Interaction" section.
