Professor Georg Raithel

Open positions

The research group is generally interested in new graduate-student applications. Availability of research positions is dependent on the current funding situation. A strong background and interest in quantum mechanics, electromagnetism and optics methods is required. Other relevant skills include electronics and some type of programming experience. The group extensively uses, for instance, Labview, C, Matlab, and Fortran. Knowledge of LaTex is helpful, but is not required (as students often just learn it on the job). For more information, lab tours and interviews please contact Georg Raithel

Typically, the group also provides research opportunities for several undergraduate students. This can be in the form of work-study appointments, summer REU positions, or some other mechanism. To inquire about present openings and lab tours please contact Georg Raithel .
