The ending of the Rocket Panel did
not end the University of Michigan�s involvement in space research, however.
The University continued to participate in many of NASA�s research projects.
NASA also funded developments at U of M, including the Space Research Building
in 1964. The space related curriculum has continued to grow, with
courses involving all aspects of space sciences and engineering.
