With all the of the things that Matson has accomplished so far, it's hard to imagine what he could be doing 10 years from now. I asked him this question, and I could tell that he's thought about it before. "mybandstock.com won't make or break me. I have a lot more to offer, but I think I'll be using similar skills for the rest of my life. But, if I have to give a concrete answer I guess I'll say that I'll be touring Europe and own 3 companies," he said laughing.
Of all the things that I learned from Bobby while talking to him, this is my biggest discovery: even though he seems like a superhuman, managing a gagillion things at once, he's still just a down-to-earth guy. (He even joked about going to Rick's last night.) I have to admit that I was a little intimidated to meet him before our interview. But, I always find that after talking to people as accomplished as Bobby, you become inspired to do something great for yourself. So, if you have an idea, follow Matson's advice and go for it! If it works out, you may have to ask Bobby for help with your time management skills, but that's ok. You can cross that bridge when you reach it.
