About S3FL

Student Space Systems Fabrication Laboratory (S3FL) is a collaboration of three aerospace engineering design teams at the University of Michigan dedicated to providing students with practical space systems experience not readily available through the academic curriculum.

Michigan Balloon Recovery and Satellite Testbed, the Robotic Exploration of Space Team, and Bluesat offer students practical, interdisciplinary experience through the design and development of exciting and applicable aerospace projects.
