Being Threatened at Work

Antwan is working his regular shift at Burger King with his girlfriend, Sharla. During work, Sharla's ex-boyfriend comes in, orders, and starts to talk about Sharla's body. Antwan tells him to stop, but he says something else rude about Sharla. Antwan says, "If you don't shut your mouth, I'm going to shut it for you!" The ex shows him a knife and says he'll shut Antwan's mouth. Then he says he'll be waiting when Antwan gets off work to settle this once and for all.

What should Antawn say?

...THIS? Tell him, "I'll be there and shut your mouth for good." Take a knife from the kitchen and plan to fight. He knows this guy is all talk, and he can beat him.
...THIS? Shrug his shoulders, look him in the eye and say, "I don't like it when you insult Sharla."
...OR THIS? Tell him, "Don't threaten me! You're not worth wasting my time on, jerk."

A few hours later, Antwan has just gotten off work. When he goes outside, the ex is waiting in the parking lot. Sharla is waiting for him in her mom's car.

What should Antwan do?

...THIS? Get in the car with Sharla and leave.
...THIS? Pull out his knife and get ready to fight.
...OR THIS? Go over and begin talking to the guy. Tell him he doesn't want to fight, but he shouldn't go around insulting people, especially Sharla.
