Being Made Fun Of at School

Dawn was suspended from school for a week for fighting. One of her anger triggers is when she messes up at school, especially if the other kids laugh or make fun of her. During her first day back, she has to read something from her English book for the class. She says some of the words wrong, and the girl in front of her keeps laughing. Dawn is really mad.

What should she do?

...THIS? Wait until class is over, then say, "I don't like it if you laugh when I'm reading."
...THIS? When the teacher isn't looking, shove the girl hard with her book.
...OR THIS? Wait until class is over, then make rude comments about the girl's clothes to her friends.

Dawn tells the girl at the end of class, "I don't like it if you laugh when I'm reading." But she is still so mad she gets right up in the girl's face and says it mean and loud. The other girl ignores her and keeps on walking down the hall.

What should Dawn do now?

...THIS? Grab the girl's arm and say it again, louder.
...THIS? Shout it after the girl.
...OR THIS? Make a joke to her friends, "I guess she's got a hearing problem," and move on.
