Around the World 2010

Over a hundred community service student organizations exist on the University of Michigan's campus. Many of them face similar problems/issues, yet few organizations collaborate together.

The primary purpose of Around the World was to provide an avenue for student organizations to address these issues together. These issues include topics on culture differences and problems facing volunteers. In addition to collaboration, Around the World allowed organizations to recruit like-minded students into their organization. The event gathered 15 community service and cultural organizations in the Math Atrium of East Hall in April. Approximately sixty students attended the event.
