Thunk!
                        “We bumped into something,” said Amanda.

                        All of a sudden, out of the water came a purple Octopus!
                        “Hello, my name is Octy Octopus. I want to write a letter to my mom.
                         Will you help me?”

                        The friends said yes and jumped into the water, swimming to
                        the bottom.
                        And so the friends started writing the letter. The beginning said
                        Dear Mom, and then they wrote a bunch of fun stuff.

                        Splash! went Amanda when she looked down.
                        Splash! went Perry when he looked at the bird.

                        When they were done, they gave the letter to Octy to send to
                        his mom.
                        “Thanks!” said Octy. “Have a good day!”
                        Ellie, Perry, and Amanda all said bye and swam up to their boat.

                  “Let’s go home!” said Perry
                 And so they went home, back to their families
