Stationary camera / Threshold

Record a threshold condition with video and audio independently of each other. Your notations will be in camera edited to be 5 minutes long each. Choose one position and experiment with the speed of zoom and length of each frame. Consider approaching or passing though the threshold between shots.---Martha Skinner

Exploring a common condition at a different scale allows one to understand it in a new way. In the following video, I explored the threshold conditon of an escalator. The repetitive loop of the system begins to reveal itself as a spatial experience.
