The 4D-MSPECT software is one of the leading software programs used by nuclear cardiology physicians to review and make clinical diagnosis for cardiac disease using emission tomographic imaging.  4D-MSPECT is highly regarded for its comprehensive and flexible environment where images can be easily reviewed and quantified with minimal interaction from the operator.  The result data can be easily exported in various formats for inclusion in many information systems.

You can use the 4D-MSPECT application to do the following:

  • Process and display cardiac ECT and  gated ECT perfusion studies of all types.

  • Process and display gated blood pool SPECT studies.

  • Calculate ventricular volumes and the ejection fraction (EF) from gated ECT perfusion and blood pool  SPECT data sets.

  • Generate and display  2D, 3D and polar map images for independent or comparative review.

  • Compare perfusion polar maps to supplied gender matched Tc-99m labelled tracers, Tl-201 or site specific normal files to determine quantify extent, severity and reversibility of perfusion defects.

  • Compare polar maps of regional ventricular function (ie. wall motion and thickening) from gated perfusion or blood pool studies to protocol specific normals files.

  • Export the estimated and user input patient information (e.g. functional and perfusion data, patient history, diagnostic impressions,..) in either report format, data format or screen capture format to other 3rd party applications (e.g. spreadsheets, HTML files, SQL databases).
