Integrated Report Generator

Using a series of popup dialogs, users can enter the following information for creating a final diagnostic report

• Patient History and Indications
• EKG and Hemodynamic Data
• LV Function and Perfusion Diagnostic Assessments
• RV Function and Perfusion Diagnostic Assessments

Once this data has been entered, the user can create a text report in HTML/ASCII/MS-Word that can also include images.  The format of the report can is completely customizeable, and can be tailored to either match an existing format or to create a new, more extensive format.

Compared to conventional dictation/transcription, this environment can decrease the time to create a report by more than 60%.   Future work is directed toward the automatic importation of the EKG data the monitor will decrease the time spent on creating a report to under 2 minutes.
