In preparation for "Take Your Child to School/Visit Your Child
in School" Day, the National African American Parent Involvement
Day Committee is calling upon all organizations and communities to do
the following:
- Support NAAPID and its"Take Your Child to School/Visit Your
Child in School" Day on the second Monday in February.
- Encourage all parents/guardians with school-age children to
participate in NAAPID.
- Provide transportation for parents/guardians participating in
NAAPID - Take Your Child to School/Visit Your Child in
School" .
- Provide child care services for participating families.
- Collaborate with schools and families to promote educational
excellence.
- Collaborate with the citizenry to promote a safe
school/community environment.
- Support Educational Excellence through your tax
dollars.
