Page Document Delivery Service
The Phone Page Service is a document delivery service staffed by law students and
supervised by reference librarians.
The service retrieves and delivers books, articles, and
primary material from the Law Library, other campus libraries,
online sources and Interlibrary Loan, for University of Michigan Law
School regular, clinical and visiting faculty teaching in the Law
School.
To
request materials: Call 764-0359, send requests by email to phonepage@umich.edu,
or complete the online Phone
Page Request Form. You may also send requests to
"Phone Page" via Law School mail or "request
items" on Lexcalibur.
To
check the status of a request or report a problem: contact Aimee
Mangan at 647-1746 or by email at aimeeman@umich.edu.
Hours
of Operation: Monday - Friday during business hours.
Deliveries:
Material is delivered to Law School faculty offices at noon and 4
p.m., Monday - Friday only.

Faculty
Research Service
The Faculty Research Service handles both legal and
non-law research projects for faculty teaching in the Law School.
Research is completed by reference librarians or by law
student research assistants supervised by the Faculty Services
Librarian in the Reference Dept.
The service handles projects that take anywhere from 5
minutes to
approximately 20 hours to complete.
When making requests, please provide complete
information about the project, including the context of the
research. The Faculty
Services Librarian will contact you for further details and will
work with you to establish a due date for your research.

Instruction
The
Reference Dept. will provide research instruction to second and
third year Law School classes and clinical law programs to assist
law students with research strategies for writing seminar papers or
performing research in a specialized area of law.
To
arrange for a research session: contact Beatrice Tice (764-6151;
btice@umich.edu).
Requests
for research instruction should be made at least three weeks before
the date on which you would like a session.
