Capillary Drawing System

A principal component in Optofluidic technology is wave-guided fluidic structure (i.e., photonic crystal fiber, capillary). Thus, fabrication of desired capillary structure, materials, and size of fluidic channels play very important role for making sensors. By controlling temperature of heating block at single digit accuracy and speed of feeding and pulling motors of the drawing system make available endless combinations with desired structure.
