On Day +14 of stem cell transplant, Simon was feeling well enough to have a visit from two hospital volunteers. These University of Michigan students, Allison and Lacey, were delightful playmates for Simon. After two weeks of Simon experiencing extremely low immune function and terrible fatigue and pain, we were thrilled to see him playing so happily again.
