TRIBUTES TO SIMON
A Note of Condolence from Emma Smid, August 2004

Dear Mary, Markus, and Maryam,
I am sorry that Simon died.
I love that me and him got such good freinds at the frist of frist grade.
I love that Simon was always nice and loveing to me.
From Emma S.
Emma Smid met Simon on the first day of first grade at Uintah Elementary in August 2003. They became instant friends. We are glad to have Emma and her family (parents Scott and Kristin and sisters Lilly and Kate) as our friends and neighbors, and we are especially glad for the bond between Simon and Emma. This photo shows Emma at Simon's Celebration of Life Party on July 1, 2004.
