Figure 3 (Plot Image; .EPS file format) was not produced in R or Stata, so there is no replication code. There are currently no available packages in R or Stata for calculating the Local Indicators of Spatial Association (LISA) statistics depicted in this map. Instead, the Figure 3 map was produced using various point-and-click capablities available in ArcGIS 10.1 software (ArcScene and ArcMap). Hence, we are instead simply providing the underlying GIS shapefile used to produce this map. This document describes how to reproduce this map from this shapefile, using ArcGIS software. Please note that the installation of both ArcScene 10.1 and ArcMap 10.1 is necessary in order to produce the Figure 3 map.
